The BlackBerry solution is renowned for its ability to provide push-based wireless access to email and other applications while satisfying the needs of both users and IT departments. In addition to wireless email access, BlackBerry smartphones enable customers to make calls, send and receive messages (SMS, MMS, and Instant Messaging), browse the Internet and access their organizer as well as a wide variety of business and lifestyle applications.
BITE will offer customers a choice between the BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8100 and BlackBerry® Curve™ 8310 smartphones. Both models provide business users and consumers a robust and easy-to-use communications solution for staying connected to the people and information that matter most to them.

The BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone, one of the smallest and lightest smartphones on the market, packs functionality and performance in an elegant design. The BlackBerry Curve 8310 is a powerful and intuitive smartphone that features a full QWERTY keyboard, yet is compact in size. The smartphone also includes rich multimedia capabilities, as well as built-in GPS that supports location-based applications and services such as mapping and navigation.
BITE Latvija will offer customers two options for services and software.
Designed for corporate customers, the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server software integrates with IBM Lotus® Domino®, Microsoft® Exchange and Novell® GroupWise® and works with existing enterprise systems to enable secure, push-based wireless access to email and other applications. In addition to BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BITE is offering BlackBerry® Internet Service for individuals and smaller businesses. This service allows users to access up to 10 supported personal email accounts (including most popular ISP email accounts) from a single device.
